Mr John Barnes is a Partner in the Risk & Controls Assurance (RCA) practice of
PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). He is responsible for managing key RCA clients of PwC in
Hong Kong and Southern China, providing services relating to sustainability & climate change,
regulatory assurance, audit assurance, business & IT process improvement, IT & environmental
due diligence, data management, internal audit, information security and corporate
governance.
Mr Barnes is an information systems audit specialist with over 20 years of experience in a
range of industries, including financial services, retail & distribution, mining, manufacturing,
engineering and transport. He also spent several years in financial management, treasury, IT
and internal audit in a number of industries including banking, government and transport.
Mr Barnes is an FCCA (Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants) and an
FHKICPA (Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants).
