Mr Johnny Ng is Group Chief Executive at Tricor. Prior to joining Tricor in 2003, Mr Ng was a
Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Hong Kong, heading up the Business Services Division.
He has over 35 years of public accounting and commercial experience in Hong Kong and
overseas, and has also lectured at universities and colleges.
Mr Ng is a Chartered Accountant and a Certified Public Accountant. He holds a Bachelor's
degree in Economics & Statistics from The University of Hong Kong and a Juris Doctor degree
from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Currently he is pursuing a doctoral degree in
Business Administration and his research interests are in the areas of corporate governance and
independent directors.
Mr Ng is the Vice Chairman of the Hong Kong Committee for UNICEF. He also served as a
member of the Accountancy Training Board of the Vocational Training Council for 6 years prior
to his retirement in 2011.
