Mr K C Kwan served in various positions with Merrill Lynch & Co. Inc. from 1982 to 1993, including as the President of the Asia-Pacific region. He joined the Concord group of companies in March 1993 and retired from the group towards the end of 2002 as Joint Managing Director. Mr Kwan is presently President of Morrison & Company Limited, a business consultancy firm in Hong Kong specialising in cross-border investments in Mainland PRC.
Mr Kwan is also an independent non-executive director of a number of listed
companies including Hutchison Telecommunications International Limited,
Hutchison Harbour Ring Limited, SPG Land (Holdings) Limited, Soundwill Holdings
Limited and Win Hanverky Holdings Limited. Mr Kwan serves on the Board of Ying
Wa College and the Singapore International School. He holds a Bachelor of
Accountancy (Honours) degree from the University of Singapore and is a member
of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia. He is also a Fellow of The
Hong Kong Institute of Directors. Mr Kwan completed the Stanford Executive
Program in 1992.
